Health Care & Well Being
Health and well being are fundamental to a well lived and balance life. Mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, nutritional and sexual health are all part if it and equally important. Since each one affects the other parts of a balance life, examining each one can help you be more successful at achieving balance. Sometimes we can fall out of balance, or we tend to put ourselves at the bottom of the list and that is life. However, the more time spent in balance, the easier it is to go back to being balanced.
Being a part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at this point in time is leaving us feeling emotional stressed, filled with anxiety about changes that are happening which we can't seem to control and now we have founded fears. We must take care of ourselves so we can take care of each other.
The Rainbow Crosswalk wants to provide links to resources that can help you deal with our everyday stressors and the extra ones that we may face.
If you can not locate something you are looking for or may need, please reach out to us and we will help to search and find some resources you need.
Mental Health
These six types of health care are all linked together. When one is out of balance, the rest of them can be too. Like dominoes, they can fall over, quickly or slowly, leading to worsening outcomes. The 2SLGBTQIA+ community tends to be at risk of becoming imbalanced more often and we need to take extra care and love ourselves even more.
The information and links below are a place to start or continue your journey of balancing you and your life, so you can keep moving forward with as much joy as you can. Living authentically and grounded in the now has never been more important.

We acknowledge that we live on the land that is the traditional unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Wolastoqiyik Peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1725. The treaties do not deal with surrender of lands and resources, but in fact, recognize Wolastoqiyik title and establish the rules for what is an ongoing relationship between nations.
